    Curtis Barry, MD

    Academic Role: GI and Transplant Hepatology

    Curtis Barry, MD - is a board certified Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist. He is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medicine School. He practices at UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus. Dr. Barry has been treating hepatitis C since 2007. He has been involved in various hepatitis C treatment studies. He hopes to help guide providers to allow patients greater access to hepatitis C treatments.

    Academic Role: Education & Clinical Services Librarian

    Andrew Haggarty, MLIS - is an Education and Clinical Services librarian at the Lamar Soutter Library of UMass Chan Medical School. He specializes in instruction and outreach at all levels of medical education, with a focus on Evidence Based Practice. He joined the ECHO team in 2023 and hopes to support providers with current literature and research support.

    Academic Role: Director, Office Health Care Planning, Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences

    Liisa M. Randall, PhD, directs the Office of Health Care Planning within the Bureau of Infections Disease and Laboratory Sciences, Massachusetts Department of Public Health. In this position she leads development and implementation of policy and strategies to strengthen public health infrastructure and capacity for public health response; directs evaluation of new strategies to prevent and control infectious disease and to advance integration of public health and primary care; and leads capacity building and quality improvement activities.
