An efficient, cohort-based approach to faculty development

All incoming tenure-track junior faculty at UMass Chan can join iCAP to help streamline the process of launching their successful independent research groups. Our cohort-based approach provides time-saving resources and support from across the UMass Chan community. Part of a broader commitment at Umass Chan Medical School to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at the institutional level, iCAP provides a strategic framework for curricular and structural innovations that enhance faculty development and retention, combining scientific excellence with a transformative commitment to DEI.
