Department of Medicine Scientists Present at BRIDGE Fund Innovation Showcase
Scientists from the Department of Medicine were among the faculty who presented project updates at the BRIDGE Fund Innovation Showcase on Tuesday, March 11. Each faculty member has received BRIDGE funding “to generate data critical to securing future funding from outside investors and forging partnerships with industry.” The following faculty provided updates on their projects:
- Ann Rothstein, PhD, professor of medicine in the Division of Rheumatology and faculty in the Program in Innate Immunity
Project: AAV2.sFasL Gene Therapy for the Treatment of Glaucoma - Kate Fitzgerald, PhD, the Worcester Foundation for Biomedical Research Chair III, professor of medicine, associate vice provost for basic science research, executive vice chair for the Department of Medicine, chief of the Division of Innate Immunity, and Director of the Program in Innate Immunity
Project: Development of Inhibitors Targeting ASC Dependent Inflammasomes - Fiachra Humphries, PhD, assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Innate Immunity and faculty in the Program in Innate Immunity
Project: Targeting Innate Immune Checkpoints in Cancer
