Jennifer Kodela Receives Cystic Fibrosis Foundation PACE Award
Jennifer Kodela, DO, assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care, has received a Program for Adult Care Excellence (PACE) award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This award will support Dr. Kodela in advancing her skills as a cystic fibrosis (CF) physician and expanding the exposure trainees have to CF care through the development of a dedicated curriculum, electives, scholarship opportunities, and structured mentorship.
“As the needs of our CF population are rapidly changing, particularly in adult CF care, early engagement with trainees to help recruit and maintain interest in this field is of particular importance,” said Dr. Kodela. “I highly encourage anyone with an interest in CF to reach out and connect with our team.”
