Employed Faculty are individuals who are primarily employed by UMass Chan, UMMHC or an external foundation (such as HHMI) or agency (such as the VA) and who are appointed to the UMass Chan Faculty.

This category does not include individuals who are employed in a staff position by UMass Chan or UMMHC and who are also appointed to the UMass Chan faculty; these individuals are categorized as Professional Staff (revised APP, Section 6.2).
