| Elective Description:
Training will be under the supervision of senior faculty including the Pediatric Hospitalists and senior residents. Daily ward rounds, case management and disposition will be emphasized. Write-ups and progress notes will be reviewed, and the student will discuss his/her patients with consultants when appropriate. The sub-intern will be expected to take call one week of the month, and cover weekend shifts under the close guidance of the senior resident. |
