Welcome to Scientific Council(CSRA)

The Scientific Council(CSRA) is the UMass Chan Medical School faculty body for monitoring and evaluating all activities relating to research conducted in or administered through the Medical School.  The primary purpose of the Scientific Council is to represent and advocate for research faculty and programs.  As such, the Scientific Council(CSRA) serves in an advisory capacity to the Chancellor and the Dean of the T.H. Chan School of Medicine, and reports to the Chancellor, the Faculty Council, the Executive Council, and the Student Government Alliance.  In support of its constituency, the Scientific Council(CSRA) promotes the quality and relevance of the research infrastructure critical to the success of investigators, including the research core facilities.
