Xiaoduo Fan, MD, MPH, professor of psychiatry, will provide an overview of the manifestation and consequences of anti-Asian racism in academic medical settings, followed by a brief analysis of how traditional Asian cultures might affect the development of unconscious bias and subtle anti-Asian racism. Dr. Fan will lead a discussion on intervention strategies to address anti-Asian racism at both individual and institutional levels.
