This “Clin Ops” division oversees the medical care delivered to our patients at the multiple clinical sites covered by our department. Our Clin Ops team collaborates closely with health system and local hospital administrative and nursing leaders as we optimize care delivery for our patients and the work environments for our providers. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of five emergency departments, a large observation unit, Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), and a busy urgent care center/occupational health center, the Clin Ops division focuses on quality improvement, development of innovative treatment protocols, implementation of strategies to improve patient outcomes, health equity, and coordination of resources in pursuit of the goal of optimal departmental efficiency.
