Designed for practicing registered nurses who hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, this program is ideal for those practicing in or interested in:

  • management and leadership 
  • clinical care and education
  • informatics and information technology
  • consulting, policy analysis, and research
  • healthcare business
  • quality improvement

In this program you will learn to

  • Effecively lead and participate in interprofessional collaborative teams 
  • Critically appraise and synthesize information for best outcomes
  • Seek innovative quality and safety solutions through the application of system principles in project development, strategic planning, and ethical decision-making  
  • Build partnerships across diverse stakeholders using effective and culturally sensitive communication strategies. 
  • Apply best practices for cost-effective health care management and strategic policy planning 
  • Engage in political and healthcare advocacy to mitigate disparities and inequities  
  • Leverage technologies to improve health outcomes and optimize the health experience

Our Master of Science, Nursing & Interprofessional Leadership program offers two tracks:

  • Hybrid: Includes in-person, remote classes, and independent study classes. 

  • Online: Includes remote and independent study classes.

: Applications completed after the early admission deadline will be considered based on seat availability, up until this final admission deadline.* For consideration after the Application Deadline, please contact the Program Director.

Applicants must submit a completed application to NursingCAS by the deadline date to be considered for admission. Application status emails will be sent to the email provided on the application via NursingCAS. 

Remember to look into your institution's HR tuition reimbursement benefits and nursing organizations for scholarships.
