Allison Maebius

Allison was raised in Great Falls, Virginia and went to University of Michigan for college, where she majored in Biomolecular Science and English. She went on to receive her MS in Biochemistry from UM in 2020, where she studied the corticotropin-releasing hormone system. Allison worked as a lab technician at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Raje Lab, where she studied the tumor microenvironment of multiple myeloma before matriculating into the MD/PhD program at UMass Chan in 2021. Her current work focuses on the application of therapeutic siRNAs to elucidate mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease. When she is not in lab, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and son, going on runs, and playing the piano.
