Faculty

The T.H. Chan School of Medicine educational program is delivered by a diverse and accomplished faculty. The breadth of our interprofessional faculty includes internationally recognized researchers engaged in cutting-edge science and outstanding physicians and health care professionals who provide the highest quality of teaching for our students while serving the health care needs of the diverse communities across our commonwealth. Our faculty are dedicated to the UMass Chan Medical School’s mission of national distinction in health sciences education, research and public service.

Our faculty have attained recognition in their fields through local, regional and national service and distinction in educational achievement, in addition to excellence demonstrated by prominent positions on national committees, boards and review panels; service as editors and reviewers for scientific journals; and numerous publications in scientific and educational journals.

The faculty in the T.H. Chan School of Medicine are appointed within one of 35 academic departments and programs, and many also hold secondary appointments in one or more departments or programs within the T.H. Chan School of Medicine related to their specific area of expertise, as well as the Morningside Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing.
