We apply established acoustic analytical approaches while developing and testing innovative new methodologies to analyze speech data in individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. We aim to utilize acoustic features to help us understand underlying brain changes, communication, and cognitive symptoms, and to develop improved therapeutic approaches.
