I’m a neuroscientist working to better understand what is the pathological mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases and find its the potential therapeutic targets. I have over five years of experience on working with human pluripotent stem cells. I have developed several protocols for detecting disease phenotyping of iPSC-derived neurons from patients with neurodegenerative disease. I am an expert on differentiation and gene regulation of human iPSC derived cortical or motor neurons. I have also experience in functional assays and gene modification and cell cloning with CRISPR-Cas9 technology. In addition, I have experience on working with fly animal model to screen genetic modifiers or small molecules against neurodegenerative disorders. I am an expert on fly genetics to make disease models and investigate genetic effects. I have also experience in RNAseq and scRNAseq with neurodegenerative disease model.
