Principal Investigator

Dr. Silverman received his B.A in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley in 1989 and his PhD from MIT Biology in 1996. He was then a postdoctoral fellow in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard University working with Tom Maniatis. He joined the faculty at UMass Chan Medical School in 2001, in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology. Dr. Silverman is currently a Professor of Medicine and Research Director for the Division.
